78% of the students receive free or reduced lunch, the CPS provided meals lack proper nutrition, high in sodium and have little no appeal to students. Our goal is to provide Daily snacks before workouts, protein post workout and one meal per week.

This initiative is led by Chris Durr ‘24! He graduated a semester early at 144 pounds after 4 months of being provided proper nutrition and fuel he gained 27 pounds to 171 lbs. If we would have had adequate resources to support him, his development and recruitment would have benefitted greatly.

equipment

Sports in the city lack funding which creates a deficit. equipment is costly, to grow a program we have to continuously update and add equipment to make sure we can provide a space for every child that would like to participate

sports is a huge factor in violence prevention. the more kids we can supply helmets and shoulder pads to, thats more children we can keep safe and off the streets. We average more than 110 athletes per year

the #1 goal is to create a level playing field for the program. To ensure they have the same tools as their competition and remove any barriers or challenges derived from socio-economic status
